Current Yoga Classes

Core Yoga Basics - Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00 am (Tanja)
Focus on the ABC's of your yoga practice - alignment, breath, and core - in this ongoing class that focuses on postural alignment and safe yoga.

Yoga From the Inside Out - Tuesday at 4:30 pm (Allana)
Yoga from the Inside Out draws upon the foundation poses of Hatha Yoga, guided by the breath, to develop a balanced, mindful practice. Unique sequences and creative movement explorations support integration, awareness and understanding of the nature and function of the body systems. Students are informed through visual aids and clear verbal instruction, empowering access through knowledge.

Gentle Yoga - Wednesday at 10:00 am (Lily K.)
This yoga practice is designed to bring a bit of tranquility to your day. Through basic and intermediate yoga poses, you will find greater freedom of movement, build strength and flexibility, and improve your balance.  You will develop a better understanding of your physical body, the breath, and the mind-body connection that takes yoga to a deeper level.  You will also learn techniques that take yoga beyond the mat and into your daily life. This class will include instruction appropriate for beginners but will also benefit those with previous yoga experience.

Chair Yoga - Every other Wednesday at 11:30 am (Lily K.)
Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing and using a chair for support.  This class is designed for those who prefer not to get down on the floor.  One benefit of chair yoga is that it can be practiced almost anywhere!  You will learn skills and techniques that can easily transfer to daily living.  We will explore mindful breathing and guided relaxation along with seated and standing yoga poses that can increase flexibility and improve strength.   Each class includes poses and stretches to support a balanced state of strength, stability, flexibility, and improved posture.
All are welcome!

Gentle Flow Yoga - Sunday at 5:00 pm (Denise)
This is a gentle, mindful class structured around rejuvenating and healing the body.  The gentle flowing movements create a calming and stress-relieving space to explore, ground, and center yourself.  Emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body and using the practice of yoga as a means of listening to the truths of our bodies rather than just the "shoulds" of our brains. Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, there is something here for you.

Yoga Basics for Health - Not Currently Offered (Mark)
In this class we explore ways to take fundamental yoga practices into our daily lives for healthier living. We will use our weekly practice to focus on breath, core abdominal muscles, low back, shoulders and neck - thinking about how we approach each area in the studio and in the hectic, demanding world outside the studio. This course is appropriate for beginners and experienced students.

Four Seasons Yoga - Not Currently Offered (Tanja)

A light to medium intensity class appropriate for the time of year.

Yoga From the Ground Up - Not Currently Offered (Lilly L.)
Drawing from the imagery of nature as a place of comfort and refuge, Lilly shares the spiritual aspects of yoga through an alignment-focused practice and a meditative teaching style. Lilly teaches with the intention to link subtle body movements with the breath, in order to guide students to a deeper awareness and integration of their body-mind-spirit through the practice.
